The Golden State Warriors have had an offseason full of struggles, especially after they were unable to land LeBron James or Anthony Davis. After that, the Warriors organization decided to bring back some familiar faces, but not necessarily players who are going to drastically change the outlook of the season.

However, Thursday was a big day for Golden State as the team likely rounded out its roster. The Warriors officially finalized the signings of Georges Niang and Brandon Williams.

“The Warriors signed Georges Niang to a partially guaranteed deal and Brandon Williams to a non-guaranteed deal, sources say. Niang is partially guaranteed for $1.84M of his $3.88M salary. Williams can earn $1.4M if he makes the opening night roster and up to $2.63M total,” HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto posted.

Golden State also likely completed its roster by agreeing to a deal with former first-round pick Dalen Terry.

“The Golden State Warriors and Dalen Terry have agreed to a deal, league sources told hoopshype. Terry, the 18th pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, has played four combined NBA seasons with the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers,” Scotto wrote.

The Warriors had shown some interest in Terry for some time, as he was an intriguing target for the organization. Now, Golden State will look to get all of its new pieces to fit together. Terry was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers to make room for LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope a month ago.

“The Sixers waive Dalen Terry to clear space for LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Terry, a former first-round pick, had a non-guaranteed contract for the upcoming season. Philadelphia must still move one additional player to create enough room for both additions,” NBA writer Jake Weinbach wrote.

Terry will use this opportunity to try to save his career, as he is at a crossroads right now. This could be a crucial chance for him to prove that he belongs on an NBA roster and earn a more permanent role.

Terry has made $15 million during his young NBA career. The good thing for him is that he will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best point guards to ever play the game in Steph Curry. That experience alone could help Terry elevate his game and make the most of his opportunity in Golden State.
