With Duke visiting Kansas on Sunday to play the Jayhawks in Phog Allen Fieldhouse, it seems like a good time to take a look at the Kansas-Louisville game from Wednesday.
Kansas struggled for part of the game, but they have an undeniable talent in freshman Tyran Stokes. Then there’s Tre White, Melvin Council, freshman guard Taylen Kinney, former NC State wing Dennis Parker, possibly Trey Kaufman-Renn, and of course, former Blue Devil Christian Reeves.
It’s an interesting comparison since Duke and Louisville are both in Lawrence within a few days of each other. Everyone is excited about JoJo Boumtje Boumtje, and we’ll get a much better idea of where he is now. Neither Belmont nor Tennessee gave him much resistance, but Kansas could.
And it’s also worth seeing where the Cards are. Duke and Louisville won’t play for a good while yet, but you kind of want to know where things stand with your conference rivals.
