The Iowa women's basketball team is playing Wisconsin on Sunday at less than full strength.

Hannah Stuelke isn't out there for the Hawkeyes.

The 6-foot-2 forward has played in 27 games this season. She's averaging 13.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 54.4% from the field.

Her loss is a notable one.

Why isn't Hannah Stuelke playing today?

Stuelke is missing Sunday's game against Wisconsin due to injury.

She was ruled out a couple hours before tip-off.

According to David Eickholt, Stuelke "suffered a right elbow injury in the first two minutes of the Illinois game. She came back in after a few minutes and gutted it out."

Evidently, Iowa decided to play it safe with Stuelke.

While clearly a win over the Badgers on Sunday would be a nice one, there are bigger games ahead for the Hawkeyes. The last thing they'd want is for Stuelke to make her injury worse.

So she'll watch from the sideline as Iowa learns how to play without one of its leaders on the floor.
