CLEMSON — Clemson basketball is projected track to make its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the first time under coach Brad Brownell.
The No. 19 Tigers (18-4, 8-1 ACC) are ranked for the fourth straight week and are second in the ACC standings after beating Pittsburgh 63-52 on Jan. 31. Clemson has won 10 of its last 11 games to be projected to make March Madness again.
Clemson is having a strong season despite having the largest roster turnover in Brownell’s tenure. The Tigers added six transfer portal players and four freshmen to pair with three returning players.
The Tigers look to enhance their résumé when they travel to the West Coast for games against Stanford (14-8, 3-6) on Feb. 4 (10 p.m. ET, ACC Network) and Cal (16-6, 4-5) on Feb. 7 (8 p.m. ET, ACC Network).

Clemson basketball March Madness bracket projections
USA TODAY’s Erick Smith, Eddie Timanus and Paul Myerberg have Clemson as a No. 6 seed in the Midwest region. New Mexico and Ohio State would face each other in a First Four game, and the winner would be the No. 11 seed and face the Tigers in Tampa, Florida.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi also has Clemson as a No. 6 seed but in the East region. He has Southern California and San Diego State matching up against each other in a First Four game, and the winner would be the No. 11 seed and also face the Tigers in Tampa, Florida.
CBS Sports has Clemson as a No. 8 seed in the Midwest region and facing off against No. 9 Central Florida. The winner would face No. 1 Michigan or No. 16 Merrimack/Vermont.
Lunardi and CBS Sports both have eight ACC teams making the tournament, while USA TODAY has seven.

Clemson basketball’s NCAA Tournament history under Brad Brownell
The Tigers have reached five NCAA tournaments in Brownell’s 16 seasons with Clemson, including four bids in the past eight seasons.
Clemson is one of 19 teams since 2018 to make at least four NCAA tournaments and advance to at least two Sweet 16’s (2018, 2024) and one Elite Eight (2024). The Tigers’ March Madness record is 6-5 under Brownell.
The Tigers have 15 NCAA tournament appearances in program history. Clemson has made two Elite Eight appearances but has never been to a Final Four.
