Winter sports are wrapping up across Oregon and Salem-Keizer area athletes as just playoff basketball remains.

Every week, you get to vote for the Statesman Journal’s Athlete of the Week, sponsored by Maps Credit Union.

Johanna Diaz, West Salem basketball

Diaz, a senior, scored a team-high 17 points and went 5 for 5 on 3-pointers March 12 in the Titans' 77-42 loss to Tualatin in the OSAA 6A state quarterfinals.

Hadley Foster, Regis basketball

Foster, a senior, posted a double-double with a game-high 21 points and 15 rebounds March 7 in the Rams' 55-35 win over Stanfield in the OSAA 2A state championship game.

Breeci Hampton, Stayton basketball

Hampton, a junior, scored a game-high 22 points and shot 6 of 11 from 3-point land March 13 to help lead the Eagles to their second straight OSAA 4A state championship game with a 66-52 semifinal win against Henley.

Frankie Koehnke, Regis basketball

Koehnke, a freshman, posted 16 points, four rebounds and four assists March 7 in the Rams' 55-35 win over Stanfield in the OSAA 2A state championship game. Koehnke earned first-team all-tournament honors.

Adie Nisly, Amity basketball

Nisly, a senior, scored a team-high 16 points March 7 in the Warriors' 47-44 win over Vale in the OSAA 3A state championship game. Nisly earned first-team all-tournament honors.

Nisly, a senior, scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds March 7 in the Warriors' 47-44 win over Vale in the OSAA 3A state championship game. Nisly earned first-team all-tournament honors.
