As the return part of a two-year neutral site series, Villanova will welcome the Wisconsin Badgers to Xfinity Mobile Arena on December 12.
Last season, Villanova’s win on a “neutral” floor in Milwaukee against Wisconsin was the crown jewel of the Wildcats’ NCAA Tournament resume. Villanova won the game 76-66 in overtime, led by Tyler Perkins’ 19 points and Matt Hodge’s 15 points. Duke Brennan contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds, along with Bryce Lindsay scoring 12 points on 4/12 from the floor.
Wisconsin was led by Nolan Winter’s 23 points and 11 rebounds. The 7’ senior is back in Madison for the 2026-27 season, and he projects to be the Badgers’ leading scorer. Also returning are Austin Rapp and Jack Janicki, who played a combined 29 minutes but did not score. The Badgers lost Nick Boyd to graduation and John Blackwell to the transfer portal (Duke).
