Villanova vs. Creighton Betting Trends
The Wildcats will enter the game as a 2.5-point favorite on the road. Villanova has been comfortable away from home this season, going 8-2 against the spread (ATS).
Villanova is 16-8 ATS this season, including covering five of its last six games. The only loss in that stretch came on Tuesday against Marquette.
The Wildcats have also been featured in high-scoring affairs. The total has gone over in nine of the team’s last 11 games. This is not surprising given the current level of Villanova’s defense. The team has not exactly been a shutdown unit defensively while the offense has gotten hot from three-point range. This is a recipe for overs and the results have proven that.
Creighton has not faired well ATS, where it is just 8-16 on the year. The Blue Jays have not covered their last six games while three of the last four have gone under. To give a bigger picture, Creighton has seen eight of its last 15 home games go under the number as well.
This will be the first of two consecutive road games for Villanova before returning home to take on UConn.
