For the first time in nearly eight months, the University of Wisconsin is set to play a meaningful basketball game.
Seeing its new roster win all three of its exhibition games, Wisconsin opens its 129th season of men's basketball tonight when it hosts Denver at the Kohl Center.
Wisconsin returns seven members of last year's team that won 24 games, including four wins over top-10 opponents, and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers also replaced graduated and departed players with eight new contributors, including three projected starters.
Here is a look at both teams and a prediction for tonight's contest.
