One way for the ACC to distract from a disappointing opening weekend on the gridiron is to start leaking some basketball schedule news.
While we wait for the full ACC release, Jon Rothstein got some scoops on ACC openers including Gerry McNamara’s first game as Syracuse Head Coach.
The ACC debut for McNamara’s band of Orange will come in Tallahassee (hopefully they figure out electricity by then) against 2nd-year Seminoles HC Luke Loucks. Could opening on the road mean playing the first ACC home game of the McNamara era to ring in 2027?
FSU was 18-15 last season, 10-8 in ACC play, and ended their season with an 80-79 loss to Duke in the ACC Tournament.
Syracuse won last year’s meeting in the Dome by a score of 94-86 and hold a 9-7 lead in the series. Here’s what we know about the Orange’s 26-27 schedule so far:
