Wabbington, 6-foot-10, had narrowed his colleges to Indiana, Illinois and Arizona.
Sunnyslope coach Ray Portela said that Indiana coaches started making a big push for Wabbington over the summer.
"Indiana was coming out," Portela said. "They were here first thing in the morning. Them and UofA did a really good job of being seen.
"But his visit (at Indiana) went well. He felt comfortable there. They're going to play to his skill set on offense."

Wabbington's versatility at center makes him effective on the perimeter and down low. His game has evolved from a 3-point shooter to dominance in the paint. He's also an outstanding defender and passer who can take over games.
Last season, he averaged 17.2 points and 9.4 rebounds for the Vikings, who were ranked among the top 10 teams in the nation all year.
"When there's a mismatch and switch, he can take people down low, and be successful down there," Portela said. "He's gotten much better at both shooting the 3 and and his post moves, being patient down low. And he's one of the best passers."
