The Red Storm revealed the tip-off times and broadcast information for nearly all of its 2026-27 men’s basketball games earlier this week. The athletics department has not yet announced broadcast information or tip-off times for its matchup against Alabama on Saturday, December 12, or any of its Players Era Festival games, though ESPN will broadcast this year’s Las Vegas-based tournament.

St. John’s will have at least four nationally televised regular-season games this season, one fewer than last season. FOX will carry three Red Storm men’s basketball games this season: its non-conference matchup against Arizona on Saturday, December 5 at noon local, a primetime duel against UConn at Madison Square Garden on Friday, January 29 at 8 p.m., and a Saturday matinee against Villanova in Philadelphia on Saturday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m.

The Red Storm will also play a game televised on NBC for the first time under the Big East’s new media rights agreement with the network when they host Xavier on Saturday, February 13. This contest is believed to be the first St. John’s basketball game broadcast on NBC since February 17, 1985, when the first-ranked Johnnies beat DePaul, 93-80. Of course, the 1984-85 season was also the most recent in which St. John’s reached the Final Four.

St. John’s will have at least eleven streaming-only games this season. Peacock will air more St. John’s regular-season games than any broadcaster this season, with nine total on the streaming site, including the Red Storms’ non-conference battle with Syracuse on Sunday, November 15, at 7 p.m., and its Big East opener against DePaul on Saturday, December 19, at 8:30 p.m. The Red Storm’s season opener against Monmouth on Monday, November 2, at 6:30 p.m. is one of at least two games airing on ESPN+ this season.

TNT carries the second-most Red Storm games with six, particularly the Johnnies’ regular-season finale at UConn on Tuesday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m., while longtime broadcasting partner FS1 will air only four Johnnies regular-season games this season. Its sister network truTV will carry only one St. John’s men’s basketball game this season: the Red Storm’s away game against DePaul on Tuesday, January 19, at 7:30 p.m.
