We are heading into the heart of football season, but that also means college basketball is right around the corner.
With Big Blue Madness only a few weeks away, we are starting to get more tip-off times announced for the non-conference slate for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Today we now know what time their SEC/ACC challenge games will start.
ESPN revealed the start times for the challenge on Monday, and the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team will take the court Wednesday, Dec. 2, against the Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville at 7:15 PM ET on ESPN.
For Kenny Brooks and the women’s basketball team, they will be hosting the Clemson Tigers on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7 PM ET on ESPN2.
Both teams will have their work cut out for them this year as Mark Pope and his team head to face off against a team that went 30-6 last season and 15-3 in ACC play. While Coach Brooks and his team will host a Tigers team that went 21-12 and 11-7 in conference play.
Basketball season is almost here, folks, and these will be two solid non-conference tests for both of our teams on campus.
