St. Bonaventure ended a three-game skid by dispatching Rhode Island 94-76 on Thursday afternoon in Olean, N.Y. in a game that was delayed a day due to the New England blizzard.
The Bonnies' (15-13, 4-11 Atlantic 10 ) Darryl Simmons II, Cayden Charles and Frank Mitchell combined for 61 points. For the visiting Rams, Tyler Cochran finished with a team-high 21 points, Jahmere Tripp returned after missing the last four games and scored 10 points off the bench, and Keeyan Itejere added 10 points and five rebounds in the loss.

A Cochran 3-pointer gave URI a 21-20 lead in the first half, but the Bonnies answered with a 10-0 run and took a 39-28 lead with a minute left in the first half. Myles Corey's layup got the deficit down to nine going into halftime, but the hosts opened the second frame making 10 of 15 field goal attempts and went up by 20 points 12 minutes into the half. URI was unable to mount a comeback, dropping their fourth contest in five games.
Rhode Island shot 45.6% from the floor and went 10-of-21 (47.6%) from behind the arc. The Rams drop to 15-13 overall and 6-9 in conference play and have three regular-season games left on the schedule, beginning Saturday when the Rams host Saint Joseph at noon, which will be Rhode Island's Senior Day.
Thursday's game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, but was delayed because the blizzard postponed Rhode Island's travel plans.
