NC State’s stay in the NCAA tournament begins both regrettably early and unpleasantly late, so at least we’ve got that going for us.
The Wolfpack’s matchup against Texas in Dayton is slated for a 9:15(ish) p.m. ET start on Tuesday night, with television coverage by TruTV. We’ll have play-by-play man Brian Anderson attempting to wrangle both Charles Barkley and Dick Vitale in that one. Barkley doesn’t watch college basketball and Vitale is stuck on talking points from 20 years ago, so that should be fun.
If NC State wins, it’ll head to Portland for a 7:25 p.m. ET tip against BYU. Brad Nessler and Wally Szczerbiak have that call.
On the women’s side, NC State’s first round game against Tennessee is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Friday night, with coverage from ESPN.
