Michigan State basketball showed some resiliency on Thursday night, picking up a monster road win over top 10 Purdue.
Michigan State rallied from a halftime deficit to beat Purdue, 76-74, for a big-time road win. This was the first time since 2014 that the Spartans won at Mackey Arena, snapping a seven-game road losing streak against the Boilermakers.
Michigan State got huge performances from Carson Cooper (15 points and six rebounds), Kur Teng (13 points off the bench), Jeremy Fears Jr. (12 points and six assists) and Coen Carr (11 points and five rebounds) in the win. The Spartans improved to 23-5 overall and 13-4 in Big Ten play with the win, and remain alive in the Big Ten title race for at least another day as well.
