Hawai‘i men’s basketball punches ticket to NCAA Tournament for first time since 2016
Hawaii has been a member of the Mountain West for a long time, but starting next season they’ll join full-time as opposed to being football-only. In basketball, they’ll arrive in fine form after claiming the Big West title and a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Christian Shimabuku of the Aloha State Daily has the details.
Utah State headed to San Diego as a No. 9 seed in NCAA Tournament
The Mountain West champions are headed to San Diego to take on Villanova. The Aggies are feeling somewhat slighted by being under-seeded by the tournament selection committee, but playing a Villanova team traveling across the country is a decent draw.
