Kentucky vs. Texas A&M game discussion and pregame reading

The Kentucky Wildcats hit the road for the first time this season as they are in College Station for a date with Mike Elko and the Texas A&M Aggies. After a disappointing second half against the Alabama Crimson Tide last Saturday, Will Stein and his staff are hoping to have the Cats clicking on all cylinders at Kyle Field and pull off a massive upset.

For that to happen, it will take a big day from Kenny Minchey and this UK offense. With CJ Baxter expected to be healthy, hopefully that helps fix the run game from last week. However, the big question of the wide receiver room still looms large entering today’s game. Will someone step up and make some big plays for the Cats on the outside? They will need that to pull off the upset.

Defensively, the Cats have looked pretty good in the first two games. If they can put together two great halves, you have to think they will be right in this game until the end.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 on ESPN. Let’s hope the Cats can gain some momentum and pick up a major upset win in College Station.
