BYU Football is back home in Provo on Friday night and will face the Iowa State Cyclones. BYU is a perfect 4-0 on the season while Iowa State is 3-2. Both the Cyclones and BYU Cougars hail from the Big 12 Conference, where BYU is 2-0 and Iowa State is 1-1.

BYU most recently played on Saturday Oct. 3 at TCU, where they pulled off a 17-10 win in the rain and wind. Iowa State played on Saturday, too, winning in Ames, Iowa against West Virginia. That one was a barn burner with the Cyclones having the 45-42 edge.

Iowa State’s conference loss came against the University of Utah. That’s the Cyclones one home loss, and they’re 0-1 in away games (16-13 loss at Iowa).

BYU and Iowa State have met 6 times previously. Iowa State has won five of the games while BYU has one victory, which came in Ames last year.
