The upcoming college football season is dominating headlines, especially with conference media days having come and gone in recent weeks, but there’s still plenty to say about college basketball.

ESPN’s Myron Medcalf took a look at the Big Ten recently to project floors and ceilings for the conference’s 18 men’s basketball teams in 2026-27. There’s a lot to talk about given the departure of Dusty May, Purdue’s accomplished senior class and Indiana’s total roster overhaul this past offseason.

Medcalf gives the Hoosiers a 25-win, 4th place conference finish and NCAA Tournament round of 32 appearance as their ceiling and a 19-win, 8th place conference finish and an NCAA Tournament appearance as their floor.
