As many other college athletic programs have done across the country, Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball has added a jersey patch sponsorship for the 2026-27 season.
Altana is an artificial intelligence platform and network designed for global supply chain management, trade compliance, and economic security. While AI has hurt the journalism and sports media world, this brings in a sizeable, yet unannounced, amount of funds that will go towards the continuous growth of the program.

In other news surrounding the team, the 2026-27 basketball roster is live on the GoZags website. The 16-man roster includes three players whose current ineligibility status is still in limbo: fifth-year point guard Javon Bennett, fifth-year forward Chauncey Wiggins, and forward/center Izan Almansa. Walk-on redshirt freshman point guard Alonzo Metz will not count against the roster’s limit as he’s a designated student-athlete.
Fifth-year lead guard Xaivian Lee is seeking a preliminary injunction after previously securing a temporary restraining order in the Glancey vs. NCAA legal case in the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, California. His hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 29, was pushed forward to a start time of 2 p.m. PT.
2026 Kraziness in the Kennel
Kraziness in the Kennel is only four days away on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. PT. General public tickets open on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 1 p.m. PT. This will be treated as a practice/scrimmage, so all the players who aren’t eligible can still technically participate. The popular event will stream live on SWX Non-Stop Local Sports.
Four-star wing Gene Roebuck III of La Mirada, California, will be on his official visit during Gonzaga’s Fall Family Weekend and be in attendance for Kraziness in the Kennel. This will be Roebuck’s second time checking out the campus, as the 6-4, 180-pound talent took an unofficial visit back on Nov. 3-4, 2025.
