It was a wild week in the top 25 as seemingly everyine in the top 10 dropped at least one game. Michigan, Hosuton, Iowa State, UConn, Purdue, and Illinois were all top 10 teams that lost at least once last week, but most of those losses were to other top 10 teams. That means mostly a shake up rather than anyone dropping.

Purdue hangs on tot he 8 spot this week, down one from last week. The Boilers also carry a NET rating of 6 and a KenPom of 7, so this is solidly a 2 seed right now. I don’t see a path to a 1 seed short of winning out and getting some help elsewhere, especially since Purdue already lost to two other 1 seeds by double digits on its home floor, but you never know. A 2 seed is still a very good starting spot for a Fianl Four run.

This week Purdue gets another ranked vs. ranked matchup when #13 Michigan State comes to town
