KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Big 12 Conference announced the 18-game men’s basketball opponent matrix for the 2026-27 season on Thursday. With it, the Kansas Jayhawks’ schedule for next season is nearly complete.
The scheduling matrix shows which conference opponents the Jayhawks will face at home and which ones they will have to play on the road. Here’s a look at the home games:
- Arizona State
- Colorado
- Oklahoma State
- Texas Tech
- University of Central Florida (UCF)
- West Virginia
- Iowa State
- Kansas State
- Baylor
And here are the teams that KU will face away from Allen Fieldhouse:
- Arizona
- Brigham Young University (BYU)
- Cincinnati
- Houston
- Texas Christian University (TCU)
- Utah
- Iowa State
- Kansas State
- Baylor
Official dates and times for conference games will be released at a later date. However, the non-conference schedule can be found below.
Additionally, the Big 12 Tournament will be held at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City once again. The tournament will be held from March 9 to March 13. The NCAA Tournament Selection Sunday will follow on March 14.

- Friday, November 6 – Middle Tennessee State (home)
- Tuesday, November 10 – University of Nevada – Las Vegas (Champions Classic, Chicago)
- Wednesday, November 18 – Auburn or West Virginia (Players ERA 8, Las Vegas)
- Thursday, November 19 – Florida, Notre Dame, Houston or Rutgers (Players ERA 8, Las Vegas)
- Monday, November 23 – Denver (home)
- Friday, November 27 – Villanova (home)
- Tuesday, December 1 – Northern Iowa (home)
- Sunday, December 6 – University of Missouri – Kansas City (away)
- Saturday, December 12 – UConn (away)
- Saturday, December 19 – Ohio State (CBS Sports Classic, New York City)
