The Wisconsin Badgers enjoyed yet another successful week, as they beat the No. 15 Indiana Hoosiers 3-2 at home and the No. 20 Minnesota Gophers 3-1 on the road to extend their win streak to six.

After some early adversity against some of the best teams in the country, Wisconsin has settled in nicely during their conference slate. They’re 4-0 in the Big Ten and haven’t lost since September 13th.

On Thursday, freshman Audrey Flanagan’s 17 kills led the way for the Badgers in the close victory over Indiana that saw them take a 2-0 lead and drop the next two sets before dominating the fifth set 15-8.

Flanagan had 14 kills and fellow freshman Decelise Champion had 11 in Wisconsin’s 3-1 win over Minnesota on Sunday, improving the Badgers to 10-4 on the season.

Despite the strong week, Wisconsin actually dropped in the latest Top 25 rankings, going from No. 6 to No. 7. Why? Well, the Florida Gators jumped up two spots after beating the No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats 3-2 at home, snapping Kentucky’s 29-game SEC win streak. It was a strong win for the Gators, who are now 12-1 on the season with wins over Kentucky, Tennessee, Baylor, and Minnesota.

Their lone loss? It was to the Badgers back on September 2nd in a five-set thriller at the Field House.

Kentucky, which is now 11-3, remained above Florida, though. Here’s the updated Top 10.

1. Nebraska

2. Pittsburgh

3. Louisville

4. Kentucky

5. Florida

6. SMU

7. Wisconsin

8. TCU

9. Texas

10. Tennessee

Wisconsin has two big road matchups this week. They’ll take on No. 24 Illinois on Thursday before heading to Nebraska to face the No.1 Huskers on Saturday.
