The first edition of the college basketball AP Top 25 Poll has been released, and the Kentucky Wildcats just snuck into it, as they’ll debut the new season at No. 23 overall.

Kentucky is one of seven SEC teams to make the first poll, led by the No. 1 Florida Gators.

No. 7 Texas, No. 8 Tennessee, No. 12 Arkansas, No. 20 Alabama, and No. 24 Vanderbilt also made it.

The Wildcats have non-conference matchups with No. 9 Virginia, No. 11 Louisville, and No. 17 Kansas. They also get an exhibition game this week vs. No. 19 Texas Tech.
