Big Ten basketball standings after Wisconsin's loss to Oregon

The Wisconsin Badgers did their part in deciding the Big Ten’s top four seeds on Wednesday night. That aid was not due to a Wisconsin victory; the team surprisingly fell on the road at Oregon, which entered the matchup with a 10-17 record on the season.

The loss dropped Wisconsin to 19-9 (11-6 Big Ten). After it was neck-and-neck with several others for one of the coveted double-bye positions in the Big Ten Tournament, the loss all but eliminates the team from that race.

Michigan is set for a Big Ten regular-season title. Behind the Wolverines, Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan State, and Purdue are all contending for the remaining three double-byes. Big games remaining during the final two weeks of the regular-season schedule include Michigan State at Purdue, Michigan at Illinois, Wisconsin at Purdue and Michigan State at Michigan.

Before those matchups help to craft the final standings, here is an updated look at the conference hierarchy after Wisconsin’s surprising loss to Oregon.
