The UConn men’s basketball team continues to trade places with Houston for the top seed in the NCAA tournament’s South Region, according to the latest bracketology projections from USA TODAY sports and ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.
The Huskies are ahead of the Cougars in the ESPN projections but trail Houston in USA TODAY’S bracketology. USA TODAY’s projections, however, didn’t factor Houston’s most recent loss against Kansas on Monday night.
UConn (25-3, 15-2 Big East) rebounded from a loss against Creighton with a 73-63 victory over Villanova in Philadelphia on Saturday. The Huskies have dropped one spot to No. 6 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Top 25 polls.
With the NCAA Tournament now four weeks away, here are the latest Bracketology projections for the Huskies.
