CLEMSON — Clemson basketball remained at No. 19 in the USA TODAY Sports Basketball Coaches Poll released on Feb. 2.
The Tigers (18-4, 8-1 ACC) received 217 points to be the fourth-highest ACC team after beating Pitt 63-52 on Jan. 31
Clemson, which started the season unranked but has been ranked for four straight weeks, is second in the ACC standings, trailing only No. 4 Duke.
The Tigers have achieved this despite undergoing the largest roster turnover in coach Brad Brownell’s tenure. The Tigers added six transfer portal players and signed four high school recruits to pair with three returning players from last season’s team.
Next, Clemson faces Stanford (14-8, 3-6) on Feb. 4 (10 p.m. ET, ACC Network) at Maples Pavilion, then Cal (16-6, 4-5) on Feb. 7 (8 p.m. ET, ACC Network) at Haas Pavilion.
The USA TODAY Sports Board of Coaches is made up of 31 head coaches at Division I institutions.
