Florida basketball climbs in latest USA Today Coaches Poll

Florida basketball climbed five spots in the latest USA Today Coaches poll on Monday, Feb. 2.

Just after a week of falling from No. 16 to No. 21, the Gators (16-6, 7-2 SEC) are back at No. 16 this week. Florida earned back-to-back wins last week. Florida recorded a historic 95-48 road victory over South Carolina, and a 100-77 win over ranked-Alabama.

The SEC has three other teams ranked in the poll as it included Vanderbilt at No. 15, Arkansas at No. 21 and Texas A&M at No. 25. Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Georgia all received votes.

The Gators moved two spots from No. 19 to No. 17.

In the NET rankings, Florida improved from No. 16 to No. 12. In the latest KenPom, the Gators jumped from No. 11 to No. 7, while in Bart Torvick UF climbed from No. 12 to No. 6. In EvanMiya, the Gators moved from No. 10 to No. 6
