Maryland gymnastics — ranked No. 25 in the country — got back in the win column with a dual meet win Sunday in Champaign over Illinois, 196.275-195.725.
The win was highlighted by a pair of 9.900’s by soph0more Aine Reade, on the floor and uneven bars — the latter was a new career-high. Freshman Emily DeFrees also recorded a career-high 9.900 on the balance beam.
The GymTerps are now 5-1 on the year and 2-1 in Big Ten play, bouncing back from a loss against Penn State last week.
